Living Proof

Virtual Storefront

As a beauty brand that prides itself on cutting-edge innovation and technology, Living Proof was the perfect contender for a foray into the Metaverse. In close partnership with immersive branding agency ByondXR and my marketing partners, I lead creative direction, graphic design, and content strategy for this project.

PROCESS

The goal of this virtual storefront was first and foremost to educate consumers on Living Proof’s products, and the science and technology behind them. My role was to translate Living Proof’s visual identity into a storefront– something the brand had never explored previously.

My goal with the space was to evoke “science” without being on-the-nose, through use of materials, natural light, and macro product and hair shots

Keeping Living Proof’s classic, luxury, and credible brand identity intact was crucial. I aimed to provide an experience one can only get in the Metaverse, without being overly whimsical

THE SPACE

To give visitors a holistic view of Living Proof, we created 5 spaces: Dry Shampoo Central, The Lab, Sustainability Corner, The Salon, and The Shop. Each of these spaces provided opportunities to engage with educational content, influencer testimonials, and shop for products.

Dry Shampoo Central introduced visitors to the brand’s mission and Living Proof’s #1 Best Seller through customer testimonials.

The Sustainability Corner featured Living Proof’s sustainability mission and information about their partnership with Terracycle.

The Lab was modeled after Living Proof’s in-house laboratory. Visitors learned about the science through product testing videos and played games to win discounts.

In The Shop, visitors took Living Proof’s AI-powered hair quiz, and added bestselling products to their cart.

The Salon highlighted Living Proof’s newest product launch, Triple Bond Complex. The space featured hairstylist tutorials, customer testimonials, and product pairings.
